Crime Awareness Message During Christmas

Please keep safe and be aware of your surroundings whilst Christmas shopping.

Carry your belongings smartly.

Wear a cross body bag zipped up and kept in front of you.

Keep valuables secure:  Do not leave bags, phones or wallets unattended, especially in public places like coffee shops.

Be vigilant: Stay alert in crowded places and be wary of distractions, which thieves can use to steal from you.

Use ATMS safely: Cover the keypad when entering your PIN and put your card and cash away before leaving the ATM. If you feel uncomfortable, use a different machine.

Secure your car: Ensure all windows and doors are locked and alarm is set.

Park Safely: Park in well-lit areas or secure car parks when possible.
